I'm working on the system reference manual. I'm especially interested in hearing about what is working and not working in the manual, undocumented diagnostic messages and sysctls, patterns for manual title search optimization, new drivers and improving release hardware notes.

Aspirations:

• please protect BSD look and feel
• protect our indexed problem report database
• disambiguate mdoc(7) semantic markup
• improve mandoc(1) pdf generation
• teach apropos 'Li=' to search examples (Ql, Dl, Bd -literal)
• hardware release notes should not insert a '/' before '_'
• improve base two byte unit and notation consistency
• reserve "FreeBSD" in titles for system topic overview manuals
• seek compromises to reduce fragmentation
• reduce documentation proliferation
