This document contains a brief overview of the FreeBSD Project, created for presentation at the Western Cape Linux Users' Group's first meeting to discuss Open Source projects in general.

It maintains references to NetBSD and OpenBSD for completeness.

It is aimed for those with a knowledge of Open Source, mostly Linux, and intends to make them aware of the FreeBSD Project.
