そのとおり，ACPI C 状態 != CPU C 状態 です．たまに C6/C7 は C3 に一致します
が．C6/C7 を制御するための BIOS オプションが備わっているかもしれません．
Intel C3 を C2 としてエクスポートするためだけにデフォルトにしているいくつか
の BIOS を見たことがあるけど，BIOS 中でそいつを有効にするまで Intel C6/C7 を
C3 として公表しないと思うよ．

アイドリングについては，BIOS が ACPI Cx としてそれをエクスポートするようになっ
ている限りどんな Intel Cx 状態も動かないと思う．
