how to build:

1 - you must have a valid, up to date source tree installed (or at least
 your /usr/include directory must be fine)

2 - your ports tree must at least contain X.Org 7.x
 an up to date ports tree is recommended but you may need to have an older
 one (hint: X11R7.1 might be the target you want to build against)

3 - cd into (this) upper level build directory

4 - ./configure ; make # and you should be done!
