Release: | FreeBSD 3.1-STABLE i386 |
I have two hard disks: wd0 QUANTUM FIREBALL_TM2100A
wd1 QUANTUM MAVERICK 540A.
My kernel is on wd0s2, and wd0s1 is an DOS FAT16 slice.
After I run_cvsup and make world at Feb 20, I encounter
this problem as described in Synopsis.
Everytime when it boots.
I don't know.

AFAIK, BootForth menu is not installed by default. You might be
using an old version instead of the current one installed in
/usr/share/examples/bootforth. Can you confirm/deny this?

When I run_cvsup and make world to 3.1-STABLE, I get this problem.
If I choose 1st option "Start FreeBSD /kernel" in BootFORTH menu,
I get the messages:
int=0000000e err=00000004 efl=00010293 eip=000073b6

System halted
If I choose 2nd option "Interact with BootFORTH" and type
"boot /kernel", it boots successfully.
Have I make any mistakes?
Thanks in advance.
