I'm not using debian kfreebsd myself here (just plain FreeBSD), but I noticed debian now has grub 2.00 in experimental so I checked if the bugfix patch to boot (k)freebsd >= 9.1 amd64 kernels has been merged and it seems to me it's not. The original thread is here: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2012-July/068924.html The pastebin link for the grub maintainer's patch in that post expired so I meanwhile also mirrored it here: http://people.freebsd.org/~nox/tmp/grub2-paste_180121.patch This or a similar patch meanwhile has made it into grub2 bzr too, and the original test iso to reproduce the bug I made is here: http://people.freebsd.org/~nox/tmp/grub-bsdtest2.iso.xz HTH, :) Juergen
