This is the set of system logs from the time period where thunderbird was
made, creating a successful logfile, but no .tbz file was transferred,
together with the logfile as found on pointyhat.  This led to other failures
due to:

  ERROR: Couldn't copy thunderbird-2.0.0.9.tbz

This is the classical "the failure will go away if you rebuild the
offending packages" problem.

Particularly suspicious is:

thunderbird-2.0.0.9.log: 

build of /usr/ports/mail/thunderbird ended at Fri Dec 21 15:45:06 UTC 2007

(titus) messages.3:

Dec 21 15:52:29 titus sshd[72473]: fatal: Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer

Note: there seems to be an hour difference between pointyhat and titus.
Keep that in mind when looking at the logs.
