9 The isdnmonitor Utility

Isdnmonitor is a utility to control isdnd and get access to isdnd remotely.

This utility can be used in two ways: the most common one is to get a display like isdnd in fullscreen mode on a remote display via a TCP/IP network connection and to control isdnd from there.

The other way to use it is as a normal line mode utilility to view isdnd's log output on a remote machine and/or to be able to control isdnd by using a line oriented command facility.

Before isdnmonitor can be used it has to be enabled and configured in isdnd's /etc/isdnd.rc configuration file by using the monitor-related keywords in the system section (see page ).
