3.2.1 isdnd

The isdn daemon isdnd is the central workhouse of the isdn4bsd package. After a custom configuration by its user, it is responsible for

• calling out when requested by the kernel components
• verifying if someone calling in is allowed to call in
• starting additional programs or scripts when configured to do so or when special conditions become true
• closing connections
• all retry and recovery activities.
