Using package build records at pkg-status.freebsd.org

A brief guide

  1. visit <https://pkg-status.freebsd.org/?type=package&all=1>

  2. in the Search field, enter the name of a jail

  3. click the Started (UTC) column heading once, or twice, to put things in reverse chronological order

  4. in the Status column, aim for the required row – typically parallel_build: or stopped:done:

  5. in the Build column, click the poudriere build icon

  6. at the poudriere bulk results page, use the Jobs list or a Search field to find the required package.

A results page – www/chromium building, www/firefox built:

Why view all builds, then sort? Why not view latest only?

The latest option is not reliable – FreeBSD bug 260152.

What are the jail names?

Packages for FreeBSD 14.0-CURRENT: main-amd64.

Latest packages for FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE on AMD64: 132amd64 in the default row.

Quarterly packages for FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE on AMD64: 132amd64 in the quarterly row.

Latest packages for FreeBSD 12.4-RELEASE on AMD64: 124amd64 in the default row …

and so on:
