These graphs compare the initial values from the 2011-12-15 kernel (blue) to the current IPv4 (red) and IPv6 (green) values of 2012-04-08 showing improvements.
As we can clearly see the IPv4 numbers have been improved significantly by a cahnge equally applied there. However the improvement on the IPv6 side is even bigger, now outperforming IPv4 pps on the send path into a local disc(4)ard device.
