In no particular order, I am:

• using a single name in 2 words (Pau Amma), not separate first/given name and last/family name;
• 60, bearded, using pronouns in signature, intending to use others' to the best of my ability if they'll tell me (barring That Transphobic "Joke" - surefire way to my killfile);
• a former heavy smoker (1 pack/day or more), coming up on 23 years since I quit;
• widowed once, divorced once, dumped once, parted ways amicably with latest and maybe last girlfriend in 2013;
• cisgender heterosexual, proudly Autistic (self-diagnosed), ADHD (also self-diagnosed), and moderately anxious with occasional spikes;
• proudly Muslim, bilingual, working on a 3rd language with remains of 3 more, interested in language and not just languages;
• raised a dominant culture insider, getting over it as much and fast as I can;
• a survivor of emotional child abuse, chipping at my screwed-up conditioning when I can, hoping that one day I'll be able to let myself cry when needed;
• a firm believer that reverse racism doesn't exist and intersectionality does;
• a civil libertarian, left-leaning libertarian or libertarian-leaning leftist (not sure which or whether it matters), speaking truth to power;
• blunt, often sweary, usually sarcastic, occasionally discussing "adult" topics (aka topics some alleged adults would rather pretend don't exist), unrepentingly and vocally opinionated on a whole lot of topics;
• former cat slave, former software developer, former network designer and admin, former infosec wannabe, former jerk;
• convinced that people have intrinsic worth and deserve support and respect just because they exist;
• amateur cook (mostly fishitarian), amateur applied sociolinguist, punster, occasional translator, editor, technical writer, and filker;
• strict in enforcing my clearly stated personal boundaries against violators;
• a supporter of various .LMs (police/blue/White aren't at much risk no matter what they disingenuously claim);
• a disability rights and accessibility advocate (sometimes but not only in self-defense);
• painfully aware that Covid-19 is here to stay, still killing and disabling people, and thus vaccinated, wearing a mask everywhere I go, vigilant, and getting tested whenever needed;
• and last but not least, a returning FreeBSD user and documentation contributor since late October 2019, and now documentation committer (mentors carlavilla and gjb).
