Hello! My name is Roman Bogorodskiy and I'm a ports committer. I was born in 1986 in Saratov, Russia. I'm studing at the faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Saratov State University. I spend most of my time playing with FreeBSD and other open-source software, reading (I cannot say I prefer some genre to another, I read everything that seems interesting to me), listening to music (btw, here's my last.fm page) and doing other things which sometimes find their reflection in my blog (it's mostly in Russian). Besides computers I'm also interested in philology, philosophy, fine arts and psychology.

Update Oct/2008: Looks like it's time to update the page a bit. I've graduated from University this year. Two years I spent working in local ISPs and now I work for GridDynamics. Other information seem to be still relevant.

• ftpsearch - handy tracker for the ftp server. Wrote it when was working at ISP. It now doesn't have ftp server now and I don't work there, so most likely I will not continue ftpsearch development.
