current tasklist for Redwood City systems (more or less in priority order)

Priorities for on-site:

 - (A3) replace netra2 hard drive.  Dead.

 - (A2/A3/B2) ensure that our fastest machines are all on 1G ethernet.
   A2/38 has 24 1G ports, B2/26 has 8 1G ports.  pointyhat-west, beefy*,
   coverity, dynode, fif*, hobson* need to be on these (16 required in
   all).  baytech*, cs1, danner, netra*, rockport, thunder* don't talk
   1G: A3/39 is 16 10/100; B2/25 is 24 1/100 with one 1G for uplink;
   they can be used "however".  All these switches are unmanaged, so
   swap at-will.  (may have already been done)

Nice-to-have for on-site:

 - (B2) see if we can figure out what hobson9's problem is.  Will need
   power re-added.

 - (B2) figure if hobson5 has two drives.  If so, the second one is dead.

 - (A3) netra2 does not need its da1 disk (da0 is 32G).

 - (A3) netra9 does not need its da1 disk (da0 is 32G).

 - (B2) hobson1 and 2 needs their BIOS set to 'serial redirect'.

Tasks that require other people to do something:

 - long-term plan to move systems out of B2 and into A1, and at
   the same time standardize on APCs.  Requires legal paperwork.

Things that can be done offsite:

 - (A2) the new machine 'beefy1' did not find all 96G of its RAM the
   very first time it booted.  XXX probably renamed to beefy4.
   Seems to be transient.  linimon to monitor.

 - (A3) the processor in netra6 has died.  linimon will send a spare.

 - (B2) order more RAM for the hobsons, if we think it is worth it.

 - (B2) order new power controllers.
