After the acquisition of Walnut Creek CDROM by BSDi, I became responsible for directing the engineering and, to some extent, marketing efforts of the open source engineering group. I also remained the principal release engineer for all FreeBSD release products. BSDi was acquired by Wind River in March, 2001 (see Wind River entry).
