5.5 Kernel Configuration for active ISDN Cards

In isdn4bsd 1.00 support for active ISDN cards was introduced. Currently the only supported cards are the AVM B1 and AVM T1 manufacured by AVM in Berlin, Germany (see http://www.avm.de/).

To add support for an AVM B1 PCI card, the lines

device iavc 1

device ``i4bcapi''

must be present (currently in addition to at least one configuration for a passive card) in the kernel config file.
