5.4 Kernel Configuration for 5.4 Kernel Configuration for 5.4.2 The Memory Address

5.4.1 The I/O Port Address

From reading the manufacturers handbook for the Teles S0/16 you already know that this card supports 3 i/o addresses: 0xd80, 0xe80 and 0xf80. When operating the card at one of this addresses, the handbook also says that there are conflicts with other i/o addresses, that means that when the card is set to 0xd80 it also uses i/o space at address 0x180, when set to 0xe80 it also occupies space at 0x280 and when set to 0xf80 it also occupies space at 0x380.

You now have to find out which i/o address(es) in your machine are free, in most cases the default setting for this card (0xd80/0x180) will work, so set the jumper on this card to configure it for using this address.
