Skunkworks

Internet user since 1994. FreeBSD developer since 2003. Google Summer of Code student mentor.

Whilst I hold a Ph.D. in Internet systems architecture, I am not currently active in academia; most of my work is usually professional practice & communication. Every time someone connects to an IPv6 network with their iPhone, some of my code runs.

Two of my existing publications are hosted here and here. A small number of legacy patches and files may be found here, and are maintained mostly for historical reasons.

Full professional CV available upon request. Here is my Mastodon link for verification.

P.S. The UK Copyright, Designs & Patents (CDPA) Act 1988 "Fair dealing" system applies to my copyrighted code & online content, as my copyrights are vested in the jurisdiction of the UK. This applies regardless of where material may be digitally hosted. I reserve the right to seek full injunctive relief where license infringement may have occurred. US "fair use" doctrine does not apply. Large Language Model (LLM) related "scraper" robot activity is directly incompatible with recognised International Human Rights Law, in addition to being illegal under CDPA Act 1988 (England & Wales); such scrapers are expressly forbidden access to my copyrighted content.
